A time of Remembering

As Kenley looks at this picture in amazement my mind can not help but wonder if Chip gave her a briefing of what it would be like to be in the Vause family. My mind wonders if before she left the spirit world if he wrapped his arms around her and told her to be strong that she would come to a family who would love and support her. From what Jared has told me about Chip, I feel like he did brief her and this is why she has a strong will and is a fighter. :) Although Chip has been gone for 11 years now, he will never be forgotten and I know that one day I will get to meet Chip and have him as my eternal brother.

Grandmas house Part 2- Sea World

While in Daytona we made the trip to Orlando to see Shamu!! We had a great time. Miles, Brittany, Emma, and Cali went also and we had a great time. Kenley absolutely loved the shows she would point and say ohhhhhhhhhhhh. It was so cute!!

Trip to Grandmas house

I know it has been a long time since I have updated my blog so I have a lot to catch up on. In March we made the Long trip to Daytona Beach to Grandma and Grandpas house. Kenley Loves her grandma and grandpa! While we were there Kenley started taking her first steps! However 2 weeks later she started walking full time!! I can not turn my back from her for one second!!

2 peas

I don't know what it is about a daddy and his daughter, but these two are two peas in a pod. I can not believe how much Kenley and Jared look alike. It is like I gave birth to a mini-me! lol I guess this is what makes Kenley love her dad sooo much! lol It is so crazy how smart Kenley is. She knows when her daddy is gone to work because she crawls around the house saying dadada. It is so cute I have to call him and when I call she knows its her dada:) It is great to have such a wonderful husband and father! Kenley knows how lucky she is:)

The Jaredites

OK, I am new to this blogging business, so here it goes. My name is Merinda Vause I married the best man in the world on June 2, 2007. We were married in the Birmingham, Al temple. This was the first best day of my life. Then 11 months later the second best day of my life happened! Kenley Dawn Vause was born! She is the sweetest and best thing that has happened to our family! She was born on May 12, 2008. Kenley is now almost 9 months old, so I have alot to catch up on. She is now crawling and standing on her own. She loves cuddly stuffed animals, I guess this is why she adores her daddy so much! Jared is doing what he loves, being a firefighter/EMT. He works 24 on and 48 off. I am not crazy about him being gone a whole day, however I do love him being home for 2 days. As for me, I love being a stay at home mom. I would not trade all the money in the world for my time with Kenley. It is so amazing to me how fast she has grown and matured. I can definitely tell she has the oldest child syndrome! She is very mature to be almost 8 months.
